Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services Examination - 2011
UPPSC shall hold preliminary examination for the various posts of Combined State / Upper Subordinate Services (Preliminary) Examination-2011 in various centres of UP.
OMR Application is applicable to this examination through Head Post Office of every district or from designated Post Offices. The prescribed cost of the applicaiton form for Special Recruitment for series PREGEN is Rs.155/- and for Series PRERES (for SC/ST of UP) is Rs.155/-. The candidates must keep with them a photocopy of their OMR application form.
Posts : 100 approx. (The no. of vacancies may increase or decrease in exceptional circumstances)
Age : 21-35 years as on 01/01/2011. Relaxable for reserved categories as per Govt. orders.
Qualification : A Bachelor's Degree or its equivalent and special qualification for some posts.
How to Apply : Application should be submitted on the prescribed OMR form. Application completed in all respects must reach the “Secretary, (Deptt No. A-1/E-1/2011) Public Service Commission, U.P., 10, Kasturba Gandhi Marg, Allahabad-211018” at the Commission’s office either by registered post or by hand upto 5.00 p.m. on or before 28/01/2011.

Be On Time, Be on time for the interview. On time means five to ten minutes early. If need be, take some time to drive to the office ahead of time so you know exactly where you are going and how long it will take to get there.
Stay Calm, During the job interview try to relax and stay as calm possible. Take a moment to regroup. Maintain eye contact with the interviewer. Listen to the entire question before you answer and pay attention - you will be embarrassed if you forget the question!
Show What You Know, Try to relate what you know about the company when answering questions. When discussing your career accomplishments match them to what the company is looking for.
Follow Up, Always follow-up with a thank you note reiterating your interest in the position. If you interview with multiple people send each one a thank you note.
